the EC initial verification for test weights officially expired on 30 November 2025. Re-verifications remain possible.

What does this mean for you?

• Limited practical relevance
  With modern digital weighing technology, verified test weights are now rarely required in practical applications.

• DAkkS-accredited calibration as a fully equivalent alternative
  It is suitable for all relevant applications – including those for which verification was previously mandatory.
  Further information on DAkkS-accredited calibration of test weights can be found here.

• Identical tolerances
  The tolerances for EC verification and DAkkS-accredited calibration are identical, as both are based on OIML R111.
  Accuracy requirements therefore continue to be fully met.
